A: Ultimate Evil Edition brings Reaper of Souls, the first expansion to Diablo III, to the next-gen consoles: PlayStation® 4 and Xbox One, as well as PlayStation®3 and Xbox 360. Armed with a controller and accompanied by an interface reimagined for console platforms, players will take the role of one of six distinct classes—Barbarian, Crusader, Demon Hunter, Monk, Witch Doctor, or Wizard—and embark on a dark journey to save humanity from ancient demonic forces. As these heroes adventure through rich and varied settings, they’ll engage in combat with hordes of monsters and challenging bosses, grow in experience and ability, and acquire items of incredible power. The release date for Ultimate Evil Edition is August 19th, 2014. This edition also includes the original Diablo III game for consoles.

Q: How is Ultimate Evil Edition different from the PC version?

A: The console version of Diablo III are fine-tuned with console in mind to make for an epic, controller-driven on-the-couch experience. Players will experience the same action-packed Diablo game, except this time they can share it with three other gaming buddies on the same couch, on the same TV, in four-player local co-op mode in addition to four-player online mode, or any combination of both up to four players. Not to mention we offer single screen co-op—say goodbye to split-screen! Specifically, Ultimate Evil Edition includes all of the content from the original Diablo III, as well as new features and updates from the critically acclaimed Reaper of Souls expansion such as new crusader hero class, new Act V, revamped loot system, expanded Paragon progression system, new artisan, the adventure mode, increased level cap, and more.

A: Yes! Players will be able to load their characters to a USB drive and bring them along to play on a friend’s console. Console players can also utilize cloud saves to access their characters. This process varies by platform.

Q: Will players who already bought Diablo III console be able to transfer their existing characters to Ultimate Evil Edition?

A: Yes! Players who already ventured to Sanctuary in Diablo III console will be able to continue their quest against evil with the same characters in Ultimate Evil Edition.

Q: Do I need to sign up for a Blizzard account to play Ultimate Evil Edition?

A: No, a Blizzard account is not required to play Diablo III on console. However, owners of Ultimate Evil Edition will be able to link their console network accounts with their Blizzard accounts, which will grant them legendary rewards and bonuses!

Q: Will I be able to use my PC/Mac characters on PlayStation Network or Xbox Live?

A: No. There are currently no plans for connectivity between the Blizzard Battle.net Desktop App and the PlayStation Network or Xbox LIVE. Instead, players will connect and be able to take advantage of their existing console-based friends lists, voice chat, and multiplayer games via their chosen platform’s native network.

Q: What languages will the game be available in?

A: All console versions of Ultimate Evil Edition have been fully localized in English, German, French, Latin American Spanish, European Spanish, Russian, Italian, Polish, and Brazilian Portuguese.

Q: Will a Collector’s Edition be offered for Ultimate Evil Edition?

A: There are no current plans to offer a Collector’s Edition version of Ultimate Evil Edition.

Q: Does Ultimate Evil Edition include features implemented in the PC version?

A: Ultimate Evil Edition includes all the features and updates introduced in Reaper of Souls expansion on PC up to patch 2.0.4, including updated loot system (“Loot 2.0”), account-wide paragon levels, changes to difficulty levels, complete skill system overhaul, new class and act, the brand new Adventure Mode, and more.

Q: What languages will be present on Ultimate Evil Edition discs purchased in retail stores in Europe and Russia?

A: In addition to German, French, Spanish, or Italian, PS3 and Xbox 360 copies of Diablo III sold in Europe will include the English version of the game. Console versions of Diablo III sold in retail stores in Poland and Russia will only include the Polish and Russian versions of the game.

Q: If I already own Diablo III console, will there be any way to upgrade to Reaper of Souls expansion on consoles other than Ultimate Evil Edition?

A: Ultimate Evil Edition is the only way to gain access to complete Reaper of Souls expansion with all its new features and updates on consoles.

Q: Can I buy Ultimate Evil Edition via digital purchase on the PlayStation® Store or via Xbox Games Store?
